As I said in my last post, our new Global Warming campaign is generating a lot of discussion. In fact, several prominent bloggers are discussing our new work ---
Please take a look at Grist Mill, Huffington and ClimateChange and a terrific article in Newsweek about the new PSAs.
Also, spend a few minutes taking the quiz to calculate your personal impact at http://www.fightglobalwarming.com/carboncalculator.cfm. Boy was I surprised when I took the quiz! Good news, my household carbon use was about 1/3 of the average American home. Bad, bad news, when I calculated what my and my husband's air travel contributed, I was now almost 7x the average American household. What am I going to do about that!

Thought I'd give you the heads up on this article in case you want to promote those whose views of your new campaign are not so positive.

Our latest One Word editorial on global warming:
Gag
Want the best proof that scientists believe global warming is real? Just look at the Bush administration’s efforts to shut them up. The Washington Post reports PR people are flying halfway across the country to “monitor” government scientists giving interviews, censored news releases and urged the Ph.D.s to just shut up. An administration that is confident in its case doesn’t feel the need to gag the other side.

"What am I going to do about that!"
You really, really, really need to do better than that. It only adds emphasis to those who believe that environmental nuts want us all to live in communes wearing masks sans cars, travel, electricity, etc.
Without logical or sensible answers, global warming will continue to be a fight of believer vs. non-believer.

I was there when Global Warming started picking up all of its steam [pun]. It was a Grand Advertising Campaign for changing to a new automotive refrigerant.
That's it.
Thing was, it worked SO well, that now they're applying it anything and everything that any whack-eco group wants to attach it to. I can't wait until the day they attribute the evaporation of rivers on Mars to Global Warming.
It'll make just as much sense as anything they attribute it to now, like Carbon Dioxide emissions. Hmmm, who are the largest group of Carbon Dioxide emitters ? Uhm, Humans, maybe ? And just how should we reduce THOSE emissions ? Any ideas ? ...anyone ?
